Adrien Round Dining Table by Poliform
The Dining Table known as Adrien by Poliform, which was designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, unites a traditional table shape with a striking modern style. The table’s individual character is due to the asymmetrical arrangement of its sculptural legs, thereby making the support structure an essential element of the design. Finishes that have been carefully chosen finish off the piece, giving Adrien a powerful presence at the same time as enabling it to suit a variety of interior environments.
Why it works in the room
The circular style naturally promotes conversation and results in a more sociable way of dining, enabling the guests to gather at ease around the table. The sculptural base gives a pleasing visual effect from all sides and is therefore very effective when placed in the centre of the room. Because it combines ordinary proportions with some unexpected structural features, it acts as a focal point without needing a great deal of decoration.
For Cyprus interiors
The Adrien Round Dining Table is suitable for use in Cyprus homes in which dining plays a significant role in both entertaining and everyday social activities. Because of its circular shape it works well in open dining spaces, establishing a clear area for gathering without introducing strong directional lines. In contemporary apartments, villas and hospitality environments, the table’s sculptural feature can give the dining area a unique character at the same time as retaining an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
