Convivium Table by Cattelan Italia
The Cattelan Italia Convivium Table is a versatile, extendable design which combines elegant proportions with outstanding functionality. It is designed to go from being a small console to becoming a large dining table, and thanks to its ingenious system of extensions and supports it can reach a length of up to three metres according to the model chosen. The end result is a refined piece of furniture that can switch smoothly between ordinary use and more formal social gatherings.
Why it works in the room
Convivium offers the flexibility of a full dining table without needing as much permanent floor space as is usual. In its closed position it rests neatly against a wall in an entrance, a hallway, or a living area, and in its extended form it provides plenty of space for dining and entertaining. This feature is especially valuable in rooms which have to cater to different activities during the day.
For Cyprus interiors
Convivium is a practical option for the interior design of homes where it is important to entertain guests but where a big dining table is not always needed. The fact that it is extendable means that apartments and smaller houses can maintain an open plan for everyday use while at the same time having the ability to add seats for family get-togethers and celebrations. In bigger houses it can also act as a refined alternative dining solution, being ready to expand whenever an event calls for it.
