Giselle Lounge Armchair by Cattelan Italia
The Cattelan Italia Giselle Lounge Armchair brings together outstanding woodworking skill and ample upholstered comfort to produce a refined seating design with a unique architectural feature. The wooden frame, which has been carefully shaped, includes integrated armrests and thin legs, showing off the precision of traditional cabinet-making methods. The seat and backrest, which are very generously padded, seem to fit naturally into the structure, the backrest appearing to hang without any visible support, thus achieving an elegant equilibrium between visual lightness and welcoming proportions.
Why it works in the room
By combining the warmth of natural wood with the softness of the upholstery, the Giselle Lounge proves to be especially suitable for use in living rooms, reading areas and sophisticated lounge environments. The shaped wooden armrests give ergonomic support and have a unique tactile feel, while the ample cushions provide comfortable and relaxed seating. The open design reveals the craftsmanship of the frame, enabling the armchair to have character without appearing visually heavy.
For Cyprus interiors
Giselle Lounge provides an elegant means of incorporating natural materials and traditional craftsmanship into modern living areas. The use of high-quality wood finishes together with fabrics or leathers that have been carefully chosen produces a pleasant contrast with the stone floors, plastered walls and other architectural features typically found in homes with a Mediterranean style. Because of its well-balanced proportions, it is appropriate for use in intimate reading nooks, in refined villa lounges and in small-scale hospitality environments, where comfort and craftsmanship come together to produce a warm and thoughtfully put-together atmosphere.
