LANCER KERAMIK TABLE

Lancer Keramik Dining Table by Cattelan Italia

The dining table known as the Lancer Keramik, made by Cattelan Italia, makes a strong impression due to its sculptural metal base and its refined ceramic top. Four metal blades that intersect create a complex architectural pattern, producing a sense of movement through the overlapping lines and the contrast of light and shadow. On each leg there is a T-shaped part which enables the various elements to cross at different angles, thus giving the base its own distinct geometric rhythm. The ceramic dining surface finishes off the design with a well-refined surface that matches the bold structure below it.

Why it works in the room

Lancer Keramik introduces a artistic element into the dining area, so that the table becomes a natural highlight in rooms in which the furniture is selected for both its function and its visual effect. The intricate base attracts attention from various angles, whereas the ceramic top provides a simple and elegant contrast to the intersecting metal shapes. This contrast enables the table to match well with upholstered dining chairs, modern lighting, and modest decorative accessories. The table is appropriate for dining rooms in which architectural furniture can take centre stage.

For Cyprus interiors

Lancer Keramik provides a special method of incorporating sculptural design into modern houses and well-designed rooms when it comes to Cyprus interiors. The geometric base stands out against the softer textures of limestone, marble, wood and neutral upholstery, whereas the ceramic surface matches well with current material combinations. In a large villa dining room or an open-plan apartment the table can clearly define the dining area by means of its strong visual impact. The piece is also appropriate for elegant hospitality interiors in which carefully chosen furniture helps to create a memorable overall design.
