The Le Mura XL Sofa by Tacchini, being based on Mario Bellini’s original design, gives a modern interpretation to an icon of 1970s radical design for use in today’s homes. When it was reissued in 2022, the range maintained the original’s characteristic modular idea but also included deeper seats, softer cushions and a wider variety of components. Because of its generous proportions and laid-back appearance, Bellini’s expressive design now offers a greater feeling of domestic comfort, and the different modules allow for increasingly versatile arrangements.
