Description
Margaret Turn Armchair by Cattelan Italia
The Cattelan Italia Margaret Turn Armchair combines a generous amount of upholstered comfort with a unique metal frame and the extra versatility of a swivel base. Its sculptural design includes soft, flowing cushions which seem to spill over the tubular frame, thus forming a continuous curve from the back to the wide, enveloping armrests. The contrast between the structured metal parts and the rounded upholstery gives the Margaret Turn a modern character that reconciles industrial features with a pleasant softness.
Why it works in the room
Margaret Turn provides comfortable and adaptable seating, so that it is especially appropriate for use in living rooms, reading areas and loose lounge settings. The ample cushioning makes it a pleasant place from which to relax, and the swivel mechanism allows the chair to turn smoothly in the direction of different areas or points of interest. The visible metal frame gives the piece an architectural character, while the soft upholstery contributes to a more pleasant appearance, enabling the armchair to function as both a practical seat and at the same time as a notable decorative element.
For Cyprus interiors
Margaret Turn provides a versatile seating option for interiors that involve relaxation, socializing and have a contemporary design. The ability to swivel is especially useful in open-plan living areas, as the chair can easily be used for talking, watching television or taking in the surroundings. The mix of metal and soft upholstery also produces an attractive contrast with natural stone, timber and textured finishes, which makes the Margaret Turn a notable feature in modern apartments, large villas and upscale hospitality lounges.
