Mondrian Console by Poliform
The Mondrian Console by Poliform is a refined and versatile piece originally designed to sit behind the sofa, but equally suited to other areas of the interior. Its clean metal base supports a thin top available in wood, marble, or glossy and matt lacquered finishes. The simple geometry and carefully balanced proportions give the console a contemporary character that integrates easily with different furniture arrangements.
Why it works in the room
Mondrian delivers a useful surface while staying light and unobtrusive. Positioned behind a sofa, it can help define the seating area and provide space for lighting, books or decorative objects. Its straightforward design also lets it work along a wall, in an entrance, or as a subtle division between zones within a larger room.
For Cyprus interiors
For Cyprus interiors, the Mondrian Console is particularly useful in open living spaces where furniture often helps organise different functional areas. Behind a sofa, it can create a more finished transition between seating and dining zones without introducing a solid visual barrier. The variety of top finishes also makes it easy to coordinate the console with the wider material and colour palette of an apartment, villa or professionally designed hospitality interior.
