Description

Montevideo Sofa by Tacchini

The Montevideo Sofa by Tacchini, designed by the Swedish architectural studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, combines well-thought-out proportions with a friendly attitude towards modern comfort. What characterises it is the continuous shape formed by the armrests and the backrest, which merge into one another to produce a welcoming outline. The sofa is furnished with generously padded feather cushions that not only soften the design but also support the lower back and give it a relaxed and refined appearance. Artisanal upholstery together with carefully chosen finishes bring to completion a piece that achieves a balance between ergonomic design and subtle elegance.

Why it works in the room

Montevideo is especially suitable for use in rooms where both comfort and a pleasing visual appearance are important. The continuous armrests and backrest give the sofa a unified shape, and the soft feather cushions encourage a relaxed atmosphere. Because of its flexible design, it goes well with a wide range of interior styles, whether it is used on its own as a focal point or combined with the matching armchair to form a consistent seating setup. The sofa’s well-balanced proportions make it appropriate for both small living areas and large lounge spaces.

For Cyprus interiors

In Cyprus the Montevideo Sofa is suitable for modern apartments, large villas and residential or hospitality interiors which have been professionally designed. The sofa’s friendly shape and finely upholstered surface match well with bright living rooms that include natural stone, warm wood and textured finishes. Regardless of whether it is situated in an open-plan living room, a private lounge or a boutique hotel suite, the Montevideo Sofa adds a comfortable and thoughtful style to the interior without losing its timeless contemporary appearance.
