Peggy Turn Armchair by Cattelan Italia
The Cattelan Italia Peggy Turn Armchair achieves comfort by having a circular shape that is well proportioned and which imparts a sense of softness and individuality to modern interiors. The rounded design, which is inspired by a pouffe, has upholstery carefully shaped so as to produce organic-looking creases, thanks to precise tailoring and the use of distinct raised wedge stitching. The end product is a sculptural lounge armchair that blends relaxed elegance with artisanal craftsmanship, together with the swivel base giving the attractive shape freedom of movement.
Why it works in the room
Peggy Turn provides an intimate and comfortable seating experience, which is why it is a good option for use in living rooms, home cinemas, and special relaxation zones. The chair’s ample size together with its gently curved upholstery promote a relaxed position, while its circular form offers a lively contrast to more formally designed furniture. The ability to swivel enables easy movement around the room, so the armchair is just as suitable for watching films, reading or having conversations. Additionally, its striking shape means that it can act as a focal point even without the need for any extra decorative items.
For Cyprus interiors
In Cyprus Peggy Turn provides a comfortable seating option for homes which are designed with leisure and informal gatherings in mind. The seat’s rounded form can soften the straight architectural lines typical of modern houses, and the textured folds in the upholstery give depth to neutral colour schemes and simple combinations of materials. Regardless of whether it is situated in the lounge of a large villa, a private media room or a thoughtfully furnished apartment, Peggy Turn produces a friendly atmosphere and a clear feeling of comfort.
