Saint-Germain Sofa by Poliform
The Poliform Saint-Germain Sofa is a modular seating system featuring soft curves, good depth and a friendly character derived from the sensuous forms of 1970s design; its smooth lines give each item a loose and inviting look, and the different modules allow the sofa to be arranged in straight, corner or other non-standard configurations. Regardless of whether it is covered with rich bouclé fabrics or in leather, the upholstery brings out the rounded shapes and gives the Saint-Germain a distinct tactile quality.
Why it works in the room
The sofa, which was designed by Saint-Germain, gives the sitting area a certain degree of softness and is therefore particularly effective in rooms with straight architectural lines and structured surfaces. The different modules can be arranged to make either a conventional seating arrangement or a more relaxed and flowing one that encourages conversation and informal relaxation. Since the curves, the varying depths and the textured upholstery affect one another, the sofa is visually attractive from a number of angles and is thus suitable for layouts in which the seating is visible from more than one side.
For Cyprus interiors
When it comes to designing interiors in Cyprus, Saint-Germain provides a more relaxed interpretation of modern living, particularly in those areas where both comfort and ambiance are just as important as clean lines. The curved shapes can soften the angularity of open-plan living spaces and establish a welcoming area in the centre for family gatherings and hosting guests. The use of bouclé adds further texture and softness, while leather offers a more refined look, enabling the sofa to suit both casual homes and more sophisticated villas or hospitality environments.
