Clockwise Table by Tacchini
The Tacchini Clockwise Table, designed by Roberto Sironi, has a striking, imposing appearance along with a surprising sense of movement. The sculptural legs seem to succeed one another in a continuous rhythm and thus form a dynamic arrangement which is inspired by common everyday actions. The design combines two fundamental geometric shapes using well-thought-out proportions, and the irregular surfaces together with the slight variations in colour contribute to the sense of depth and to the material character. The end result is a modern table that gives an architectural expression to the interior without appearing visually stiff.
Why it works in the room
Clockwise is especially suitable for interior spaces in which the furniture produces visual interest through its shape and materials rather than through decoration; its large proportions give it a strong presence, and the rhythm of the legs adds a sense of movement and visual lightness. The fact that there is a contrast between its exact geometry and the uneven surfaces means that it is appropriate for contemporary living rooms, lounge areas and other types of interior where sculptural furniture is included as part of the overall design concept.
For Cyprus interiors
In Cyprus the Clockwise Table is suitable for use in modern apartments, villas and for residential or hospitality spaces that have been professionally designed. The table’s architectural features go well with natural stone, concrete finishes, timber and with more restrained colour schemes. It can act as a striking feature in a large living area or in a lounge with a strong design focus at the same time as helping to create a unified and contemporary interior look.
