Ube Coffee Table by Poliform
The Ube Coffee Table by Poliform sits between functional furniture and sculptural art, with an expressive form inspired by the seed of the tropical coco de mer. Carved from a solid block of wood in the classic olmo nero finish, its distinctive concave shape highlights both the natural material and the craftsmanship behind the design. Originally conceived as a stool, Ube can also function as a striking occasional table within the living area.
Why it works in the room
Ube draws attention through form and material rather than decorative detail. Its carved silhouette gives it a strong presence from every angle, making it particularly effective as a standalone accent beside a sofa or armchair. The solid construction also lets it move naturally between practical furniture and a sculptural object in the room.
For Cyprus interiors
For Cyprus interiors, Ube can introduce an organic and artistic element into contemporary living spaces. Its deep wood finish creates a contrast in light-filled rooms, while the compact scale makes it easy to incorporate without dominating the surrounding furniture. It is particularly suited to interiors where distinctive design pieces are used selectively to give the space a more unique character.
