Velombra Dining Table by NatureDesign
The Velombra Dining Table by NatureDesign examines the contrast between transparency and solidity by means of a special combination of materials. The base, made of cast glass, has sinuous, transparent shapes which give a sense of movement and visual lightness, while the reflections and changing light strengthen its sculptural appearance. The table top can be had in wood with a sloped edge or in marble, thus providing a more substantial surface that offsets the base’s fluidity. This combination of complementary materials is what gives the Velombra its individual character, blending expressive design with a well-thought-out sense of proportion.
Why it works in the room
Velombra is especially suitable for use in dining areas where there are contrasts in materials, as the transparent glass base ensures an open appearance and the wood or marble top serves as a clear visual focus. This combination results in a well-balanced arrangement which has both a sculptural and a functional aspect, making the table appropriate for contemporary dining rooms and open-plan interiors where light, texture and form are important.
For Cyprus interiors
In Cyprus the Velombra Dining Table is suitable for modern apartments, large villas, and for residential or hospitality interiors that have been professionally designed. The transparent base proves particularly effective in bright rooms, since the natural light can highlight the glass shapes and produce gentle reflections. When combined with natural stone, timber flooring and thoughtfully chosen dining chairs, the table forms a striking focal point without losing the sense of an open and refined atmosphere.
