Boston Desk by Cattelan Italia
The Cattelan Italia Boston Desk brings together organic shapes and high-quality materials to produce a unique working surface suitable for use in both residential and professional interior settings. The wooden top has a natural grain pattern and is enhanced by a leather writing surface which matches the irregular shape in a smooth, wavy manner. Three metal legs set at an angle are joined to the wooden top by finely made oval joints, thus adding an architectural feature that emphasizes the design’s accuracy and creativity.
Why it works in the room
The Boston model transforms a plain desk into an impressive piece of furniture by means of sculptural proportions and fine craftsmanship; the rounded edges of the tabletop soften its heavy appearance, and the metal legs, which slope inwards, give rise to a well-balanced structure with a special visual rhythm. The optional drawer, featuring a curved front, offers practical storage without disrupting the desk’s smooth outline, which makes it especially appropriate for executive offices, private studies and elegant home workspaces.
For Cyprus interiors
Boston provides an elegant solution for creating a dedicated workspace in Cyprus that is aligned with the overall architectural style of the house. The piece combines wood, leather and metal, which gives it depth and a contrast of materials, so that it is especially suitable for private studies, contemporary villas and professionally designed offices. In a home office or in an executive environment, Boston enables the creation of a refined workspace in which functionality, craftsmanship and personal style are all brought together.
