Malibù Desk by Cattelan Italia
The Cattelan Italia Malibù Desk, designed by Paolo Cattelan, achieves an elegant appearance for modern interiors by combining soft, flowing lines with a minimalist design. The wooden top, which is well crafted, has smoothly rounded edges that underline both Italian craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the material. The desk is supported by a unique cylindrical painted steel base as well as by a triangular arrangement of floor supports, thus achieving a balance between sculptural character and quiet simplicity.
Why it works in the room
Malibù provides a more refined option than conventional office furniture and is therefore especially appropriate for use in home offices, reading nooks and multifunctional living areas. The softly curved wooden top gives a sense of warmth and softness, while the geometric steel frame contributes a certain architectural appeal without appearing too formal. Because of its well-balanced proportions it can be used either as a specific desk or as an elegant extra workspace that blends in smoothly with the other furniture.
For Cyprus interiors
Malibù provides a refined method of integrating a workspace into the home without having to sacrifice the general design of the interior. The way it combines natural wood with painted steel makes it suitable for contemporary apartments, private offices and modern villas in which furniture is chosen on the basis of both its practicality and its visual appeal. Whether it is situated near a window, in a peaceful reading corner or as part of an open-plan living area, Malibù establishes a comfortable environment for work and for everyday use while still preserving a relaxed and elegant ambiance.
