Mathieu Desk by Poliform
The Mathieu Desk by Poliform combines a light contemporary profile with graceful curves and carefully considered material details. Its top features a wooden frame with a leather insert, creating a softer contrast with the defined lines of the painted metal structure. Optional additions, including a discreet drawer beneath the top and a mirror, allow Mathieu to adapt from an elegant writing desk to a sophisticated bedroom piece.
Why it works in the room
Mathieu works particularly well when a functional surface needs to feel integrated into the interior rather than distinctly office-oriented. Its curved top and open structure keep it visually light, while the leather insert adds a tactile detail that elevates the work surface. With the addition of the mirror, it can also serve as a refined dressing table in a bedroom or wardrobe area.
For Cyprus interiors
For Cyprus interiors, Mathieu offers useful flexibility for apartments and villas where one piece of furniture may need to perform more than one role. It can provide a discreet workspace in a bedroom or living area, while the mirror option turns it into a practical dressing area without extra furniture. Its compact, elegant design also makes it well suited to guest bedrooms, private suites, and sophisticated hospitality interiors.
